We provide emergency care during regular business hours for our clients. At this time, we are unable to offer emergency care outside our client base. For after-hours emergencies, we recommend contacting a local 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Visit our Emergency Care page for more information.
We primarily treat dogs and cats. If you have a different type of pet, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs or refer you to a trusted specialist.
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to accommodate other pets who may need care.
Yes! We offer a full range of prescription medications and preventatives through both our in-clinic pharmacy and our official online pharmacy.
Absolutely. If your pet is a current patient and the medication is medically appropriate, we’re happy to provide a written prescription upon request.
Please note, we do not authorize prescriptions via phone, fax, or email from third-party pharmacies. We only provide written prescriptions directly to you. This helps prevent errors and duplication of work.
No. We are not affiliated with any outside or third-party pharmacies other than our own. We cannot verify their storage, sourcing, or shipping practices and therefore cannot guarantee the safety of their medications.

Pembroke Animal Hospital accepts all Pet Insurance. All pet insurances work on a reimbursement model. Payment is due when services are rendered. You will be provided with an itemized receipt to send into your insurance provider who will then issue you reimbursement.
