  • Dr.
    Lisa M. Teixeira, DVM

    Dr. Teixeira originally hails from Worcester,Ma  and received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in 1985.  She moved to the South Shore after graduation from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.  She worked at Hanson Animal Hospital until 2000 when she left to start a house call practice.  In 2001 she purchased Pembroke Animal Hospital in order to preserve the independent small animal practitioner and allow pet owners a choice for their veterinary care.  She provides full medical and surgical services for small and exotic animals.  She also continues to provide house call services  for her clients.  Under her ownership Pembroke Animal Hospital has grown to a multi-doctor practice which provides quality, progressive veterinary care.

    Dr. T lives in Pembroke with her husband Jay, three dogs, Cole, Panko and Boris, as well as two cats, Bill and NB. As an avid Patriots fan and season ticket holder since 1995 you will find her in Foxboro at Gillette Stadium attending home games.  Also, since 2010 she has participated in the 2 day, 39 mile Avon Walk for  Breast Cancer held each May.  She also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

    Ashlee E. Rockwood

    Dr. Rockwood is originally from Marshfield. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2010. After college, she was a veterinary technician for four years before attending the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2018. Her areas of professional interest include internal medicine, dentistry and surgery. Dr. Rockwood currently resides in Kingston with her husband John, cat Rue and dog Stanley. In the summer you can find Dr. Rockwood down the Cape. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, going to Patriots games and doing jigsaw puzzles.

  • MaryLou

    MaryLou is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been in the veterinary field for many years. She originally started her career at Pembroke Animal Hospital under Dr. Sniff then worked for Dr. Cicarelli at Ashdod Animal Hospital before returning to Pembroke Animal Hospital in 2003. She lives in Plymouth with her husband, Russell, and her 2 cats, Norman and Bates. In her spare time she enjoys reading and walking.

  • Chris

    Chris is a Certified Veterinary Technician, graduated from Becker College in 1992.  She has worked with Dr. Teixeira for many years and has extensive veterinary technician skills.  She lives in Middleboro with her husband, Ed, two daughters, a Dalmatian named Charley and a few fish.

  • Bob

    Bob is a veterinary technician who has worked with Dr. T for many years and has been at Pembroke Animal Hospital since 2002. As the only male staff member he often jokes that he needs combat pay. When not rescuing and releasing spiders he spends his free time playing paintball and computer games. He has a cat named Jade that loves to wake him up at 5:00am to be fed....NO EXCEPTIONS!!! His motto is the Zombie apocalypse is not if, it's when. http://blogs.cdc.gov/publichealthmatters/2011/05/preparedness-101-zombie-apocalypse/

  • Kirsten

    Kirsten is a Certified Veterinary Technician/ Dental Technician with over 18 years of experience. She lives in Marshfield with her husband Chip and their cats.

  • Katie

    Katie is a Certified Veterinary Technician.  She is a graduate of Mount Ida College with a 3-Year Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has loved animals her entire life and always knew that she would make a career out of it. She lives in Weymouth with her 3 siblings, father, and two dogs, Lacie and Rascal. In her spare time she loves to train dogs, hike, read, and go to the beach.

  • Allison

    Allison joined the staff at Pembroke Animal Hospital in May 2010.  She is currently working as a receptionist.  Initially she started a career in nursing, however her love of animals redirected her toward a life surrounded by animals at work as well as at home.  She lives in Pembroke with her husband, Lorne, has 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 dogs.  In her spare time she enjoys her grandchildren, kayaking and the beach.  

  • Debby Gundal

     Debby is one of our full time receptionist.  She has been in the animal care field for 20+ years.  Her experiences range from animal rescue to veterinary receptionist.  She lives with a Boxer mix named Jaxson, and three cats Cali, Lil' Roo, and Georgie.

  • Lorraine

    Lorraine is one of our full time receptionists.  She comes to us with over 25 years in the service industry and has worn many hats in different fields in her professional life.  Music, movies and mysteries are her passion.

  • Charlotte Malone

    Charlotte is one of PAH’s veterinary receptionists. For many years, Charlotte worked in the financial industry but found her true calling had always been with animals. She previously managed doggie daycares and is excited to bring her knowledge and past experience into the veterinary world. Outside of work, you can find Charlotte watching true crime documentaries with her own animals or reading celebrity autobiographies poolside.
